Description

Under the reign of Darius the Mede, Daniel is promoted but faces jealousy from other officials. They trick Darius into passing a law forbidding prayer to anyone but the king. Daniel continues to pray to God, resulting in him being thrown into a den of lions. God sends an angel to shut the lions’ mouths, and Daniel is miraculously saved. Darius acknowledges Daniel’s God as the living God.
