Welcome to the Seed Pod for beginners. I Ms. Ashley, and I'm so glad you are here with me today as we sing and learn about God through nature and the Bible. Heavenly Father, please bless all the boys and girls who've joined us today. Help us to learn so much more about you and come close to Jesus. We pray in Jesus name, amen. We are gonna sing Before I formed you in the womb. We can be a little silly with this song. Do you wanna pretend that you have a baby in your tummy? You can put a little pillow or a little stuffed animal under your shirt where your tummy is as we sing. Before I formed you in the womb, we are gonna be learning about butterflies today. In this song, you can hook your thumbs together and gently fluter your fingers up and down to look like a butterfly. Flying high line low. Let's sing butterflies. I like to see the butterflies flying high, flying low. I like to see the butterflies made them. I know I like to see the butterflies flying. Hi, flying low. I like to see the butterflies. It's time to review our Bible story from this week. I want you to help me out by saying the answers out loud after I ask the questions, can you do that question one, what happened to the little sick girl while the daddy was looking for Jesus? She died. The little girl died before Jesus got there. Question two. What did Jesus tell the daddy? Did he say, I'm so sorry she died, or only believe. Yes. He said, only believe he was about to do something. In question three, when Jesus returns, what will he do? For the people who loved him but have died, He healed them. Why is it Yes, he will heal them and wake them up and will never die again? Our lesson today is Monarch caterpillar's. Second Corinthians five 17. I sing, become new. Have you ever seen a caterpillar? Yes. What was it doing? It was going into the tree. Caterpillars are fun to watch as they walk. One of the prettiest caterpillars is the one that changes into a monarch butterfly. A caterpillar actually doesn't start out as a caterpillar at all. It starts out as an egg. When the egg hatches out, crawls a little caterpillar. The caterpillar needs to grow, so it starts to eat. It starts by eating. Its eggshell. When the egg shell's all gone, the little caterpillar starts eating the plant. It was hatched on. Caterpillars love munching on plants. They munch and munch and munch, and they grow and grow and grow. But a strange thing happens. A caterpillar's insides grow, but its skin doesn't keep growing. So the caterpillar grows a new skin and leaves behind the old two small skin. What do you do when you grow out of the clothes you wear? Put them in boxes. When we grow out of our clothes, we might give them to somebody else or we might put 'em in a box, but the caterpillar just leaves its skin behind. After a caterpillar has changed its skin, about five times, a hard covering grows around its body. This coverings called a chrysalis. The caterpillar stays inside the chrysalis for about two weeks. The little caterpillar is busy changing in the chrysalis, growing legs and antenna and wings. When the caterpillar finally does come outta the chrysalis, is it still a caterpillar? No. No. What is it? Butterfly. It's a butterfly. When the right time comes, the butterfly comes out and flies away, and when the right time comes, Jesus will wake up. The people who have died and where will he take us to heaven? Back to heaven. What do you think about butterflies? They're good. I like them too. The next time you see a butterfly, remember that God wants to transform you into something so much better. It's Memory verse time. Our memory verse this week is Mark 5 36. Do not be afraid.
