Dr. Blackburn is an ophthalmologist at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky. He specializes in vitreo-retinal surgery and diseases. Dr. Blackburn has been in this position since 2004 and enjoys teaching medical students, ophthalmology residents, and surgical retina fellows. Dr. Blackburn and his wife Dionne have been married for 30 years and are high school sweethearts. They have 3 daughters and 1 son-in-law. They help lead their church, Bluegrass Connections, in Lexington, Kentucky.
