AudioVerse's vision is to get the Word out to as many people around the world as possible, but that requires some big plans. We have a lot of fun thinking of innovative and genuinely useful ways to help make this happen! Here's a peek at just a few projects we're working on. Website Updates and Services

Thousands of people visit AudioVerse from around the world every day, with that number growing all the time. We realize how important it is to for our website to be as user-friendly as possible. So we are currently working on a big upgrade to the website to make it much better for our users around the world. Some of the things we're working on are a redesign with a new look and feel, an update to our topic categories, and an improvement to the search feature on the site. We're also working on making the resources on our site accessible from various mobile devices to increase the accessibility for users wherever they might be. Additionally, we are making improvements to the administrative backend of our website to make it easier for the AudioVerse team to provide more valuable material even more efficiently to the world. Of course, with more visitors the cost of our bandwidth increases as well. (Our monthly bandwidth usage is around $330 currently). There will always be ongoing expenses to keep the website up-to-date with modern standards, and we already have some generous individuals who have committed $1000 to this project. The needs for the current upgrade endeavor are projected to be $2000 to $4000 more.

International Media & Spirit of Prophecy Audiobooks

By now, you've probably noticed that AudioVerse isn't just available in English. Four other languages are available: Spanish, German, French, and Chinese. We are working hard to expand our site to include other languages, some of which include Portuguese, Swahili, and Hindi. We need high-quality listening material and faithful volunteers for each language group, and of course additional equipment, to make this a reality.

Additionally, we are striving to make high-quality Spirit of Prophecy audio books available for free in each language supported on our site. Visit our current collection of audio books in English. We already have Steps to Christ and Christ's Object Lessons available in Chinese! We are in need of more dedicated, gifted narrators for each language, and additional recording equipment can make the project move even faster.

We are praying for new recorders, which will be essential in the production of great material in all the various languages, and also to help replace aging equipment that has helped capture so many powerful recordings in the past few years. At a cost of $350 per recorder set, and we are praying for 10 sets for an estimated cost of $3500.

Transcriptions

It's nice to hear a good sermon. But at times, various limitations prevent people from accessing our growing collection of audio and video material. That's why we are working with a team of dedicated people from Ouachita Hills Ministries to make select AudioVerse sermons available in printed form for easy, quick, affordable distribution. Additionally, transcribed sermons make it possible for Internet search engines to know about the contents of each presentation, making it even easier for people to find the exact message they need while browsing the web. This is an ongoing project and each sermon can be transcribed at the cost of $30 per sermon. One-thousand dollars of seed money has already been contributed to get this ambitious project going.
