Every month, thousands find our service through our audio Bibles, making them a crucial piece of our content library and an important gateway for people new to AudioVerse.

Currently, we offer three audio Bibles on AudioVerse, the NKJV, KJV, and dramatized KJV. However, those recordings require licensing agreements which mean we do not actually own them. While these partnerships have allowed us to provide access for now, they nevertheless come with significant limitations.

Here are just a few of the challenges:

• No Downloads: You cannot download your favorite Bible chapters for offline use.
• Can't Save Favorites: Saving and organizing your favorite chapters is not possible today for certain Bible versions.
• No Search: Some versions of the Bible cannot be integrated into our search engine.
• Limited Software Integrations: We are unable to fully integrate our audio Bibles with future tools and features we have in development for our app and website.
• The Cost: AudioVerse must pay ongoing licensing fees for certain translations in order to keep them in our app.
• Uncertain Future:The fees, the terms, and the access to these audio Bibles can change or go away all together at any time. We are at the mercy of the owners of these recordings.

Imagine losing the source of over 50% of our new users! We find this risk to be unacceptable, and we want to share with you what we believe to be the solution to this problem: The AudioVerse Audio Bible!

Why Make Our Own Audio Bible?

While there are many audio Bibles already in circulation, none of those at the quality we desire are available for purchase. Understandably, most of the audio Bible creators prefer to license their versions without giving up ownership. That’s why producing our own became the logical option.

Here are some of the benefits of owning our own audio Bible:

1. Owning it prevents losing the right to use it.
2. It allows us many improved options for marketing to non-SDA users, not just on the AudioVerse platform but on social media.
3. It allows us to enhance features within the app, such as downloads, saving, search, recommendations, etc.
4. It allows us to integrate the Bible with sermons from AudioVerse, creating a powerful commentary and enriching study experience.
5. It eliminates the need for ongoing licensing fees.

How Much Will It Cost?

Our most popular version of the audio Bible is the dramatized King James Version. The initial cost estimates for creating something as scripted and dynamic were staggering—from as much as $600,000 and beyond! Not to mention the extensive production time it would take—this is simply beyond our reach.

Based on our team’s research, we have discovered a technology-driven method that enables us to produce our own dramatized KJV Audio Bible at a fraction of those original estimates both in cost and time.

Our estimate is that it will take $200,000 to complete this project, and our aim is to produce the entire Bible in the year 2024.

This sample only represents the experimental phase of this project, and the quality will only improve as we refine our production process.

Matching Funds Available: Your Gift Can Go Twice as Far!

Some generous donors have offered to match donations toward this project dollar for dollar, but only for:

1. First-time donations to AudioVerse, or
2. Donations of $100 and over.

This means if you’ve never donated to AudioVerse before, every dollar you give will be worth two! And even if you have donated before, each gift of $100 or more will also be worth twice as much!

So $250 will become $500 and $2,500 becomes $5,000!
