“As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving. Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ.” (Colossians 2:6-8)
We have all seen in the news recently – multiple major storms that have decimated cities, paralyzed entire states and scoured several island countries. Yet, while some people lost most of their earthly possessions, they still managed to retain their faith.
In this new GYC Southeast series called “Rooted” we will be exploring principles from God’s word, looking at how we can be have a faith that is founded and grounded in the truth so we can remain courageous and unshaken through the coming storms.
