For Americans, this is the time each year to celebrate freedom and independence as a nation. It is time to reflect on what transpired in the past that made us what we are today.

The year 2017 is also a poignant opportunity to reflect on the freedom of religion that we have today as the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation--demarcated by Martin Luther’s nailing of the 95 Theses on the door in Wittenberg. To do just this, a creative team comprised of dedicated Adventist individuals around the world have been producing a video series this year on the history of the Reformation called Lineage Journey.

This series, hosted by Pastor Adam Ramdin, Youth Director of the North England Conference, is designed to remind us of our lineage—what has come before that shaped us into who we are today. These riveting 5 minute videos combine tightly-scripted history lessons with breathtaking footage of actual Reformation sites to bring to life the realities of our Christian heritage. This series will inspire you with the sacrifices of our spiritual predecessors along with the providences of God in preserving His people and the freedoms that we enjoy today. You will be motivated as never before to deepen your consecration to God and to finish His work on Earth!

So in partnership with the Lineage Journey team, we are very excited to announce that the Lineage Journey series is coming to AudioVerse. You can check out the episodes on our website or on our mobile apps.

Lineage, Season 2

The Lineage team has traveled thousands of miles, crisscrossing the continent of Europe to develop the series thus far, but they have plans to hop across “the pond” to continue the Lineage series in America for season 2.
